Project: Linux version of ScreenweaverHX
ScreenweaverHX is a piece of software to create haXe based desktop applications. Tipically applications would be written in Flash as ScreenweaverHX can wrap the Flash player extending its capabilities to add features such as:
- Writing and reading files to the hard disk.
- Accessing registry in Windows.
- Accesing SQLLite databases.
- And many more...
ScreenweaverHX is similar to other proprietary products such as MDM Zinc or Adobe AIR. However, SWHX is way more flexible due to being Open Source.
ScreenweaverHX is strongly based on haXe (an open source language targeting Flash, JS and server side) and Neko.
The goal would be a working version of ScreenweaverHX for Linux.
